Something special for your sister (in law, half, sista from another mista, whatever ya fancy!)
Animal Multi Bangle Pack – £12
You know that the reality when we are buying for our sisters, is that REALLY you want to get them something which you like too. ‘Borrowing’ is an underestimated thing ye know. I love a good colour coordinating bangle combo like the one above (Oh my, that was a bit of a tongue twister)
I am yet to pop my Snood cherry, but every time I see someone wearing one I really want to steal it off them. So cosy for this weather – unfortunately in my case fashion often goes out the window in the winter months. I wish I was more creative with my layering, and I think a pretty Snood like the one above would definately help with this. Oh, wait… this is meant to be for sisters right? Not myself.. oops 😉
Next Gold by BaByliss Straightners – £25
• Up to 220°C high heat temperature
• Variable temperature control from 120-220°C
• Ceramic coated plates
• Fast heat up
• 1.8m swivel cord
I think by now I’ve established it’s okay for us to steal our sisters stuff, but in no means is it okay for her to steal ours! Straightners perhaps being one of them? Tell her politely to back off by buying her a pair of her own 🙂 Can’t really go wrong at £25.
Haha to be honest, if you are a regular reader of my blog then you’ll know the above present would cause more hassle between me and my sis more than any of the ones mentioned above! She might only be 6, and I am 21, but our fight over who is the biggest hello kitty fangirl is an ongoing saga. She is becoming rather crafty like her big sis, and watching her learning to read and write has been a proud moment ♥ So I know she would love this little kit. Even if I would want it for myself more 🙁
(Yes that’s me, in the middle, with the mad cheeser and fetching red jumper and black trousers)
(Tyler, much cooler and cuter than me. And she is only 6!)
Anyways, that is quite enough embarassment for one day! We’re half way through my gift guide now so I shall see you tomorrow for yet another installment. I am cheesing because it’s friday and I finish early on a friday (I even do that little jump heel click thing as I run away from work) Really looking forward to the weekend off – which may contain wrapping of christmas presents and writing of christmas cards if I’m feeling motivated enough. I’m also feeling excited, because I’m in email talks about a whole new design makeover for The Little Blog Of Horrors for 2011. Won’t reveal too much as of yet, it’s still in the planning phase but the person who is designing it for me is super lovely ♥ But I really need to get my inspiration head on and give her something to get her teeth into! 🙂 Y’all got much planned? Have a good one whatever you’re upto sweet girls.

I'm not sure I do dare to post my 90's pictures- I had to have an eye patch and my glasses really were like milk bottle bottoms. I think I managed the sympathy vote with that going on though!

Pop your snood cherry, as you put it! No more long scarf ends getting caught in things; you'll never go back haha. As sad as it is to admit, I really wanted a Zhu Zhu last Christmas but obviously it would have been to weird to get one! If I did get one for someone I would definitely get the accessories like the pet carrier to go with it! When I was younger I just had to have the matching carrier for my Marie toy from the Aristocats haha.

That picture is amazing, loving your red jumper! I'm sure I have a lot more embarrassing photos, especially when at that time my Mum used to make most of my clothes. She once made me a coat that was a Noah's Ark themed coat that had about ten different pockets and a different animal you had to put in each pocket from the ark. Yes, that actually happened 🙂
December 11, 2010 at 10:13 amThose pet carriers are exactly like Paul's Boutique bags! I wonder if my hamster would like to be carried around in one. The picture makes it look like they are for toy hamsters only, humf!

I'm slightly obsessed with snoods this year. And when I say slightly.. I mean.. well, put it this way: I've got snoods in cream, black, blush, dark grey, light grey, forest green & was totally eyeing up some more today (but did manage to resist) – I say, go for it, they're amazing!
I was excited when I saw this post was the one for sisters, as I'm really struggling to think what to get for mine – sadly though, this didn't help at all – damn her, she's far too fussy & difficult to buy for!
