Happy Sunday folks! I’ve been up since 5am with Juno (joys of the 8 month sleep regression) so I started putting together a little person christmas gift guide, based on some lovely sites and products I’ve seen online over the last couple of weeks. I’ve been chipping away at my christmas shopping list every night when I get home from work, and some of these items I have also bought for Reuben and Juno. So if you guys are reading this… don’t peek!
My Feelings Crinkie Toy – £12.99 by Taf Toys @ JojoMamanBebe
This sensory style crinkle toy is actually bigger than you’d think, 33 x 44cm, which I thought was an absolute steal for the price! It’s also double sided and has plastic rings so you can attach it to a buggy or car seat.
Wooden Camera – £14.95 by Le Toy Van @ Scandiborn
How cute is this? Budding photographers can flick between four camera settings, rotate the moving kaleidoscope lens and click the button to take imaginary photographs.
Mini Me sock set – £16.95 @ Happy Socks
This Mini Me set is one of a few design variations on their site, with a fun gift box containing a matching pair of socks for a little person and a bigg’un!
Wooden cutting fruit – £17.80 by Melissa & Doug @ Baby Direct
This set has been a stellar hit with Reuben and any of his friends who’ve came over to play. Who knew that chopping up fruit could be so much fun? The wooden pieces are held together by velcro, and they come in a lovely little wooden crate.
Makeup play set – £29.95 by Plan Toys @ Scandiborn
Reuben is pretty obsessed with the contents of my makeup bag, so I was over the moon when I stumbled across this on Scandiborn. They also have a similar style hairdressers set, complete with mini scissors, comb, hairdryer and straighteners.
Ecolight lined puddle suit – £28.80 (reduced from £36) @ Muddy Puddles
These puddle suits are made from recycled fabric and have a soft jersey lining. There’s a couple on the website right now which have 20% off! Hands down the best thing to wear for outside exploring, and jumping in muddy puddles too of course.
Ice Cream Kit – £21 by Dantoy @ Smallable
Reuben and Juno were previously gifted some toys from the Dantoy bio plastic range and we love it. Juno has some stacking cups, and Reuben has a digger. This ice cream set is amazing, and there’s loads of other options/styles on the Smallable site.
Good Night Stories For Rebel Girls – £20 @ Waterstones
I’ve tried to keep this gift guide gender neutral, but had to mention this book as I’ve bought it in years gone by for a few little ladies in my life. Reuben has a similar title, “Stories For Boys Who Dare To Be Different” which is equally as great.
6 piece pastel rainbow – £23 by Grimms @ Kidly
Grimm’s rainbows have a bit of a cult status, and no wonder because they are absolutely amazing for free and open ended play. They are a little on the pricey side but an investment for years to come, as they suit multiple ages and will grow with your child.
Balance board – £128 by Wobbel @ Babipur
Another classic which is a brilliant investment, the Wobbel board! They come in various sizes and colours, and can be enjoyed by grown ups as well as kids. There’s a great selection guide on the wobbel website and some ideas on how you can use it.
So, that’s all for now! I hope this gives you some ideas for the little people in your life, or perhaps points you to some websites where you can browse and might stumble across the perfect gift you didn’t know existed. All of the above are available across multiple sites but I’ve tried to link to a few different options so that you can then explore what else they have to offer. A lot are also available on amazon (and sometimes for a little bit cheaper) but I have avoided linking to them in order to spread the wealth a bit (lol)
