I need blue skies, I need them old times.

Soooo, I’ve just found out that tomorrow is the day we’ll be going to collect the kitten 🙂 Seriously feels like christmas! Thank you for all your opinions on the names I’ve had in mind, it was a pretty even vote between them all and I am still undecided. Tomorrow morning I’m going to the first ever Scottish Topshop event in Silverburn, which I am really looking forward to 🙂 Theres a whole Fashion Festival going on at the shopping centre if you’re looking for something to do! Style hunters will be looking for the best dressed shopper over the weekend to hand a £500 Silverburn gift card too. Shame I dress like an absolute moron 100% of the time otherwise being in for a chance of winning that would be AWESOME.

Anyways, after the event I’ll be driving down to pick up John and go to the breeders to get our kitty. Having a bit of trouble with my macbook at the moment, so going to try get it into the apple store over the weekend (for the second time) and hopefully they can sort it out for me. So If I’m away for a wee while, that’s the reason why. If you will be looking for a fluffy kitten fix I’ll be on twitter and tumblr as always. Hoping I’ll be back on track by monday as I’ve got a wonderful giveaway for you from Cheap Frills on the cards to celebrate reaching 1400 readers, which is rather jubilee inspired so stay tuned for that 🙂 Also, thank you so much for your lovely opinions on my dresses in the last post! You make me blush. After cleaning out my wardrobe this week, and claiming I had never heard of Glamorous before, I came across a dress of theirs which I bought from Bank last year! Never even noticed the label before. And today when I was in House Of Fraser I was very pleased to see some other Glamorous dresses hanging on a concession stand. Glamorous are actually having a flash sale with 40% off EVERYTHING tomorrow between 12pm-3pm UK time, so make sure you jump on that if you’ve got your eye on anything girls, just enter GLAM40 at the checkout.

Apart from writing lots of lists and running errands, here’s the little adventure I went on this week to enjoy the (hopefully not last of) the sunshine…

A long drive in the sunshine with King Creosote on the stereo, walks in the forest, and a picnic on the beach. It was absolutely glorious and I hope this is not the last we’ve seen of Mr Sunshine for this summer. I think the Loch needs a few more weeks of sun to warm up properly, John and I had our swimming stuff and ran full pelt together into the water, but my goodness it was SO cold our bones actually felt sore. I’ve surfed over on the west coast in april and it didn’t even feel that cold (but maybe the wetsuit helped…) Oh Scotland, how I heart thee.

Ayden x

Lovely pictures! What loch is it? I've been on a few adventures in the sunshine recently too – love summer in Scotland so much!

Good luck with the kitten! Remember, if he's a bit nervous at first let him get used to small areas rather than giving him full run of your house (which could be a wee bit overwhelming). Also if you play with him and get him to run around LOADS before you go to bed he'll learn to sleep when you sleep!

Can't wait to see pictures of him!

Your last two photos are literally my perfect summer pictures haha, this is what I wish I could be doing! Waltzing around in long grass carrying my picnic basket, instead of stuck indorrs (although at least now it's raining!) revising my little heart out for my second year exams (: Beaaautiful xx
