the best thing since sliced bread

After a few days on twitter now I think its pretty safe to say it is not quite the best thing since sliced bread… but it is definately fun! Great being able to banter with all you girls more easily, so a huge thank you for the warm welcome. I have been so focused on work this week, and been busy blabbing away on twitter and posting pictures, I feel like for the first time in ages I don’t have anything that interesting to blog about 🙁 na’a mean? I’m planning on making another youtube video soon – so please hit me up with any ideas on what you’d like to see. I know themed posts have never been my strong point, and I don’t know if that will change any time soon, so for now here is a little round up of what has been making me smile the past couple of weeks, via my trusty camera phone.

1. This one was a few months ago actually, but its the Got To Dance dome getting built outside my work. I observed on my lunch break in AWE.
2. A single high heel on a fence in town, that person must of had a good one the night before…
3. (Almost) naked mannequins in a wedding shop window! Shirts, shoes and socks is a good look 😉
4. A teeny snippet of the show I get to watch twice a day. But my general knowledge is still rubbish I’ll have you know.
5. Feeling semi organised with my little standby kit. Contains one of EVERYTHING crafty related you can imagine. Well, almost.
6. Flicking through the filmbang directory and finding a picture of myself on one of the pages, whaaaat?!
7. Realising that the pink v water kinda tastes like every other v water but I think I like it the best.
8. My first twitpic – posing in the lift for y’all.
9. My AMAZING parcel from the gorgeous SJ. What an awesome girl, this cheered me up so much ♥
10. Proving that a simple dinner is often the BEST kind of dinner! (and sometimes your only option when you get in from work at 8pm and the boy has already eaten)
11. My hair is growing which makes me smile, but I need my fringe cut again.
12. A tiny little hat which I got free on a bottle of innocent smoothie… I have no idea what to do with it!

Something which I am obsessing over right now is Misfits on channel 4. Any of you watch it also? It’s the first show since Lost which I am really into (and well, hollyoaks too…) I caught up on the first two episodes of the new series online, and last night watched it on e4+1 (saviour channel) I cant get enough of it! Nathan absolutely cracks me up!

Are you a religious watcher of any show? Love a good box set? Talking about hollyoaks – its a guilty pleasure of mine and watching omnibus on a sunday is the bees knees. Although recently all it has made me do is cry. I am a right blubber when it comes to sad episodes and sad films. I swear I’m not one of these people who cries at everything! But sometimes, it just can’t be helped. Now tell me, will I need to get the tissues out tonight for this one?

I know I’m a bit late on the bandwagon – I’ve heard amazing things about it from you all in the past week or so and I can’t wait to see it tonight with the boy 🙂 Then I’m working tomorrow and sunday will be my first day off in 9 days, so can you guess that I’m looking forward to that muchly? I plan on sleeping, eating lots, hollyoaks omnibus (ovbz!) and going to buy our first christmas tree plus decorations for the flat 🙂 What’s your plans this weekend?

And even when I’m not writing about anything that amazing you still take the time to show an interest by reading and commenting and that makes me smile 🙂 Knowing that people actually read my little blog really does keep me going, even when my inspiration feels a bit blue.
