There’s still a tiny bit of time left to get nostalgic for 2013 before it becomes socially unacceptable! Moving forward into 2014 I am glad to look back on the places I visited last year. Belfast, London, Cyprus and Iceland. I think Reykjavik in Iceland has to be one of the best places I have ever traveled to.
A mini gif of my trip made up by the Lloyds Bank ‘Moments That Matter’ team in the style of their tv advert. Now all we need is an emotional voice over artist narrating over it haha (I really am a sucker for those sorts of adverts, pass the hankies please) Featuring Reykjavik Harbour, The Blue Lagoon, The Golden Circle, Thingvellir National Park, Geyser, Gulfoss Waterfall, New Years Eve outside Hallgrímskirkja Church, and the best meal on our last night at Grillmarkadurinn.
I’ve had quite a few people email me asking for advice on visiting Reykjavik, and I’m more than happy to help so if you’re thinking of going then drop me a wee email. Looking back on pictures like this has given me the travel bug again, and thinking about where I’d like to visit this year. I went inter-railing around Europe a few years ago now, so have been lucky enough to tick most of the big European cities off my list. If money was no object then this year I would love to fly out to Thailand to meet Katrina who has been living in South Korea for the past year. John is also really keen to do a big American Holiday this summer, taking in Disneyland and the other theme parks, and for years I’ve wanted to have a proper girly holiday to Ibiza with my best friend Jenn. There’s no way on earth I be able to do all 3, but definitely want to tick off one of them. So if you have any advice on Thailand, Florida, or Ibiza then I’d greatly appreciate it 🙂
I’m awfully impatient, I just want to see all of the world. But all we can do is chip away at the list piece by piece. What about you, any plans to travel this year? ♥

I was confused by the German title and mistook your blog for someone else ^^"" And Wanderlust is just to be in the mood to wander around, it's not really that irresistable feeling to travel around the world, I think someone exaggerated that vocab ^^ I get your urge though; I always get the urge to travel far away when I am a bit longer in one place. This year I will live in Japan and Korea so it should be okay. I hope you will be able to visit all the places you want to see! 🙂

Im going to Barcelona this year and possibly new york but we'll see. I went to florida over 10 years ago, it was great, went to disney, universal studios, ihop, many all you can eat buffets, shopping malls and water parks. Its great- everyone is so friendly but its very expensive and there's so much to do so you'd need at least 2 weeks. xxx

January 25, 2014 at 2:16 amI have the wanderlust bug at the moment too. I really want to get back to Walt Disney World again this year (I worked there in summer 2013 and fell in love) and maybe visit some european cities.

I want to go to America again, and spend all my money on their gloriously cheap makeup! Haha, and Hawaii, and London. But we'll see. xoxox

I'm going to Florida in October which I cannot wait for! It's going to be my first time travelling to America so I'm really, really excited. I turn 25 this year so would also like to visit another European city to celebrate (maybe Barcelona), but I'll need to see if my pennies stretch that far! Good luck with your travel plans.

Aw, I love seeing other people's travel photos – and that gif is very cool!
January 25, 2014 at 11:12 amI've been going to Florida the last 5 years in a row (and trip number 6 is in May!) so if you ever want a blether about it give me a shout!
I could talk about Florida (and Disney) all day, haha xx

I definitely think that the more travelling you do, the more you want to do… Wanderlust is addictive! My fantasy trip is the Trans-Siberian railway from Moscow to Beijing, but I definitely won;t be able to afford this year. Hoping to make it to Turkey or somewhere else hot this summer though.
