Springtime

Okay so on Monday I had a meeting with the Art Director of CBBC’s Waybuloo (anyone who has younger siblings will probably know this show) to arrange a work placement. It went very well and I got a tour around the set where a few people I know were already working on it. Time is really against me at the moment so I’ll be going to work there for a very short but sweet 3 weeks 🙂

Tuesday was the get in of mine and Ash’s set for this Blu Tack competition were working on. But thanks to booking complications and other stupid stuff I had to de rig the whole thing and filming has been pushed back to next weekend. Doesnt it just ruffle your feathers a tad when things dont go to plan? Tuesday was also opening night of Three Sisters and Plasticine at the Citz. I didnt manage to make it along to either, but heres some pics from Three Sisters:

 

On Wednesday it was my friend Nicolas birthday and I was meant to drive through to Edinburgh for a party at her house. However, the previous morning I was sick at the bus stop in Glasgow! Seriously, Id been feeling pretty crappy recently but not actually been sick until Tuesday morning. Nearly ON the bus, but luckily not. Just embarassingly in public in the pouring rain. Great 🙁 So on weds I met my friend Leah for a Tinderbox in town and a wee catch up, then crawled home to bed and spent the rest of the evening still feeling rather sorry for my sicky little self. I couldnt have went all the way to Edinburgh for fear of driving on my own and a repeat of tuesday morning, so I popped Nic’s pressie in the post. Sorry girlie ♥

On thursday afternoon I went to the cinema with David to see Green Zone (after him seeing The Princess and the Frog, and Alice In Wonderland with me, I kinda owed him some ‘boy movie’ time) But it was actually pretty good. My feeling sicky-ness has lost me 4lbs this week, my appetite has gone out the window and Im normally a total sweetie muncher at the cinema but I didnt have the urge to bring anything with me this time. I then met Jenn later on and finally had something to eat…

Satisfied tummy? Yes indeed 🙂 Feeling slightly chirpier we went over to Cyrus’s flat in the Merchant City so Jenn could get a very last minute haircut before she jets off to America on sunday! Jenns hair was pretty long before and she got quite a bit off it but it looks super nice, Im sure you’ll agree 🙂 We had a lovely long chat and good banter, Im going to miss this lil lady muchos! Me, and then my mum, and my grandparents all got her a card so I hope she knows she is loved and is wished the best of luck on her journey and training for her new US Airways job 🙂

David turned up to my house on thursday night after work with a little spring time present 🙂 I really need a proper vase…

Friday consisted of some quality time with the wee ones. David played with them in the Garden and then we went to the Big Adventure indoor play area for a wee while too. They drive me crazy sometimes, but I wouldnt change them for the world 🙂 My Mum has done so bloody well as a single parent, trying to stay independant but also having to put up with shite from my stepdad. So Im going to try and help whatever way I can ♥ Do these two little people look cute and innocent? Dont be misled! :p

Anywayyys, moan over. It will grow back soon enough 🙂 So yesterday was eventfull and we were all absolutely knackered last night. I found out I’m not back in the cafe till the 24th so today was an unexpected day off for me! Cant believe tomorow is easter, I havent even bought any eggs for anyone (or myself) so a trip to Morrisons later might be on the cards. Today I’ll be chilling and tomorow Im seeing my daddy as usual and my friend Erin in the evening for a wee while. I’ve got a shopping haul to share soon (New Look, Asos, H! By Henry Holland) and I think a blog sale will be on the cards 🙂 Ive never done one before but I think I’ll maybe try selling a few things on here first before I resort to ebay!
