7 things

Thank you to Monica for this tag and blog award 🙂 You are meant to tell 7 facts about yourself, and tag 7 more people to do it, so here goes!

1. I suppose I’ll start with the basics! My name is Ayden Millar, I’m 20 years old and I live in a little town called Linwood, which is 5 minutes down the motorway from Glasgow Airport, Scotland.
2. My mum and dad have been separated since I was a baby, but they have a really positive friendship with one another and it wasnt a nasty split, so its never been horrible or awkward… so I feel pretty lucky in that sense.
3. I grew up living with my mum, and I see my dad every weekend. But in my last year of uni I’ve moved round the road to my grandparents house! (I’ll tell you why in fact 4) They arent that old :p and are very fun loving and active and I have my lovely wee room here 🙂 Its a very homely house and David comes to stay all the time and my friends always visit. So not a bad wee set up if I’m honest.
4. The reason why I moved round to my grans, is because my mum and stepdad had two kids together, and my house got a bit crazy! My little sister Tyler, is five. And my little brother Aaron, has just turned three. I was an only child for so long and feel blessed to finally have a brother and sister 🙂 But mums two bedroom house eventually got a bit cramped as the wee ones got bigger and needed more space, so living at my grans for a year until I move out when I graduate was a choice I made off my own back. Works out better for everyone this way me thinks.
5. I gradute in July, aaaargh! If you’ve read my ‘Geeking it up’ post a few posts down below, then you’ll have a decent idea of what it is I do at uni. 3 years of my life has actually flown in by the way. I’m such a different person now, to what I was when I started uni. Madness! I’m much better at my subjects too haha. Well, I’d bloody hope so 😉
6. I would love to work regularly in film/tv when I graduate. I have done quite a few unpaid jobs and work experience in both theatre, tv and film, through the nature of my uni course (click my flickr link over to the left for a nosy at my portfolio) But luckily in the last year, the paid jobs have finally started rolling in. I have worked as a scenic artist at the Citizens Theatre in Glasgow, I’ve worked as a props buyer for a cbbc kids show Ed And Ouchos Excellent Inventions, and a production assistant/runner for the likes of The Jo Frost Project for ch4 (Supernannys new show!) Britains Got Talent, and this weekend Andrew Lloyd Webbers new programme Over The Rainbow for the bbc! I loves it.
7. This summer I am going inter-railing around europe, with my super lovely boyfriend David:

This is him in our hotel room in London last christmas! He is a very special boy, and has certainly stolen my heart &heart; We have been going out for 1 year and 4 months almost. He is my rock and my best friend and I can tell him anything. We are such big geeks together and he makes me laugh until my tummy hurts. I wouldnt change him for the world, he puts up with me on my bad days aswell as the good ones and it fills me with such a nice feeling knowing that I can be 100% myself around him. Fed up of the mushy stuff yet? 🙂 David is the coolest, funniest, most beautiful and most awesome guy I have ever met and I can’t wait for us to go travelling together this summer. Good times ♥
Now, I shall tag 7 blogs that I have never tagged before! I look forward to reading your answers too :]

Thanks ever so much for the tag! Am I allowed to say your boyfriend is a hottie?! 😀

You've worked on some amazing TV shows – how awesome is that?! Graduating is a great feeling and to be honest, I really loved my first foray into the working world. Having real, tangible money in the bank is a great perk… even if you do have to pay council tax!!
