Age 14 – natural colour and medium length, choppy cut.
Age 15 – natural colour with added blonde bits to fringe. Quite long too!
Age 16 – Natural colour with the blonde flash! Which remains to this day 🙂 Give or take a few months.
Age 17 – Natural colour with blonde flash and extensions. I think I got these from salon services at the time and my mum cut them in with my hair for a more natural look.
Age 17 – Got rid of the extensions and went darker for the first time! Slight asymetric cut.
Age 18 – Kept the asymetric cut but let the dark brown fade out to my natural colour. Flash still there!
Age 18 – My mum cut my hair so short that I got drunk and cried. This is it once it had grown in a little – blonde flash still there and some blonde on the opposite side near to my ear too.
My 19th birthday! Swallows are brand new and a birthday pressie to myself (ps, I’m not naked! my top is tucked down along with my bra… promise!) Was darker than my natural colour at this point and also replaced the blonde bits with pink.
Age 19 – Bored of the blonde altogether so I went short (didnt cry this time) and red/purpleish for the first time! Me and David had just started going out 🙂
Age 19 – In london with my boy later on in the year. Im still rocking the red and not a bit of blonde in sight.
Age 19 – Had a bit of a red and blonde disaster here, dont know what I was going for. Maybe in denial of wanting my ‘flash’ back? I didnt last much longer…
Age 20 – Back to blonde! This picture makes it look a bit too greeny, but you get the idea. I had a cut that I was comfortable with, a nice natural brown and my old faithful back in action 🙂
Age 20 – Portugal with David. The sun lightened my overall colour and the blonde even more! Such a managable style and length for being on holiday, really liked it.
And heres me now! An all over marble of a few different tones of brown and purple, and a gorgeous asymetric cut (and undercut) from Maggie my mums salon, Girlz Night 🙂 I love my hair just now more than ever. You have great hair! I particularly love the 19th birthday look, the shape of the hair is lovely, and the pinky/red is great with your skin.
I do love the blonde flash though, I've had one in the past,and it seems to want to battle through as it keeps reappearing!
