“For a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time to still be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have. And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time … and remember that time waits for no one… Happiness is a journey, not a destination.”
I used to be a serial quote collecter. Movie quotes, lines from books, and lyrics in songs. Plus the general wise ramblings of muse’s from this century (and others) Quotes that reminded me of certain people, and places, and times in my life when the going got tough and I pushed on through. One day I stumbled across a blog called the notebook doodles. Her blog, and flickr page is full of inspiring words. And enough to keep me going for a very long time! This is one I sent in, and was written out for me by this talented lass:

Great post 🙂
& a bit of a coincidence, as I too used to be a 'serial quote collecter', as you put it – but haven't done for ages (as much as I quite often wish I still did) – but I randomly read through a whole massive file of quotes from years ago, just last night. I don't even know why. But I was so glad I did.
And now, I'm glad I read this 🙂

I'm a sucker for an inspirational quote. Keats' poems are fab for picking out key lines. xxx
