This cute Local Celebrity tshirt from Zalando really sums up how I’ve been spending the past few days (getting my nerd on) I’m off work at the moment, but have a few busy jobs to come back to after my holiday so kinda enjoying the quiet time for now and getting my life organised. I was pretty impressed with the massive range of shoes Zalando had to offer on their site, but my feet are at the funny inbetween stage where I’m a 5 in some shops and a 6 in others, and it also changes depending on what kind of shoe I’m trying on. So I’m a bit of a wierdo and really don’t like ordering shoes online! But was quite pleased to see so many of my favourite brands on there and opted for this tshirt instead 🙂
Please excuse the guns in the first picture, the stupid amount of cupcakes I seem to inhale on a weekly basis is starting to take its toll on me. Also, since moving house I haven’t joined the gym or been to any classes and I am really feeling it. I have always been quite paranoid about my weight, but at the same time I am also one of those people who are ALWAYS hungry (ie greedy bitch) Woe is me! Haha, really though – need to get my bum into gear. Woke up with a sore leg the other morning, very random and I must have been tap dancing in my sleep or something. But I’m determined not to let it put me off any longer and squeeze in a handful of sessions at the gym before I go away next friday.
I have pretty much looked out all my holiday clothes, and the only new thing I will be buying for going away is a nice pair of gladiator style sandals (suggestions welcome) and some suntan lotion. Could have been done online before now, but obvz not cause I’m a shoe wierdo as mentioned above! You’d think after packing a months worth of clothes into a backpack for my travels last summer that I’d be good at narrowing down a week’s worth of clothes for this holiday, but I’m not, I am totally hopeless. 15kg and counting…
I have recently landed my 3rd (not that I’m counting, promise) major Art Director role, for a Bbc tv show with a pretty well known comedian. I don’t want to jinx it just yet, but I am really looking forward to doing the show in september and having another strong credit on my cv. At the same time (while getting my nerd on) I’ve really been thinking about the gaps in my learning and what I’m going to do about it. Coming from a theatre based course, there are a few art department aspects of tv land which I understand but don’t have formal training in. The biggest one being drafting and model making. I’m hoping to change this soon though, and have been looking into some short courses in London. It’s expensive, but I hope I will be able to get some funding towards it so please keep your fingers and toes crossed for me ♥
I’ll leave you with a lovely quote, from a lovely man, who’s music I love falling asleep to…
Ayden x

Love the quote. You look gorgeous as always, including the guns! 😀 You don't need to be worrying about your weight at all missy.
Congrats on the new work, and that's awesome about taking some courses. My degree was in Model design and special effects which was for film/tv and the like.
Off to browse that site now, even though I'm completely penniless, but a girl can dream. 😀

Suggestions on the sandals front, I was super impressed with the Primark selection before I went away and H&M are always worth a look for shoes as are New Look. You'd better have a damn fab holiday querida!

What a wonderful quote, it really emphasises how sometimes we just need to keep things simple, and think about the things we often don't appreciate.
